2007-10-30 - Alpine Mt. Ski Patrol - E-333
Alpine Mt. Ski Patrol is seeking full-time and part-time
patrollers for the 2007-2008 ski season. Our season generally starts in
December around Christmas week and continues thru the end of March,
beginning of April weather dependent. Alpine Mt. Ski Patrol consists of
approximately 50 volunteer members and a paid staff of 5-6 members.
Salary is hourly based on experience.
Our operational hours are 09:30 AM to 20:30 PM M-T, Friday, Saturday,
Sunday hours are 08:30 AM to 21:30 PM. Daily operating hours subject to
change once the season begins. Work shifts are generally 4 - 8 - 12 hour
shifts depending the work day assigned day. You will either be assigned
to Opening Closing or Swing shift.
Alpine Mt provides discounts on cafeteria and ski equipment
rentals for employees and family lift pass privileges for
immediate family members.
Applicant must possess current:
- OEC or EMT, EMTP
Certifications, or RN Certification
- CPR Card
- Good Ski and/or Snowboard Ability
- Pleasant personality to cordially deal with the skiing public
- Emergency Management Skills to handle outdoor emergence
situations.
- Proper Grooming and no visible tattoos or body piercing
- Prior Work References, and/or personal references
- Language: Speak, Read & Write English
- Operational knowledge
of snowmobile and ATV is a plus.
- Winter Emergency Care Training provided to successful
applicant
