Class time will consist of a minimum of 80 hours.
Home study will also be required in the amount of 40 - 60 hours.
It is recommended that you have a broadband internet connection. All course communication will be via email. Several lesson plans require internet access to educational websites.

Students will be required to purchase OEC Manual, Workbook, Patroller Manual, and course administrative fee. During the course the student will also be required to make up a patrol first aid pack to be used during the class hands on training portion.

This course is open to all. Class size will be limited to the first 25 students that sign up.
If you have persons interested in joining ski patrol, or a mountain employee that would benefit by this certification, this will be the course to take to get them started for next season. We are planning course completion by December in time for the upcoming ski season.
