To all EPA Patrollers:

August 03/2019

There will be a two day Low Angle Rescue course at Whitetail, Saturday, August 3rd and Sunday, August 4th. Over the weekend we will build your skills and increase awareness of how Low Angle Rescues fit together; anchors, hardware, software, and people, with a focus on Single Rope Rescue. We will then apply this knowledge through multiple rescue scenarios. We will be building from basics, expect to be challenged at an intermediate to an advanced level by content and pace. There will be plenty of opportunity for discussions and your thoughts, ideas, and possible workarounds are an important part of the workshop.

This course is registered with NSP as an MTR Enhancement Seminar - Course #E034190008
WHO: This event is open to Patrollers, Patrol Candidates, Safety Team members, as well as outdoor enthusiasts who want to increase their rope rescue skills. If you are a patroller we are working to get this course registered as an MTR enhancement, more details to come on this.
WHERE: Whitetail Resort, 13805 Blairs Valley Road, Mercersburg, PA.
HOW: To register please buy a ticket through Eventbrite CLICK ON THIS LINK TO REGISTER: LAR Registration Link or visit this URL: https://low-angle-rescue-2019.eventbrite.com . Please visit the link for more detailed information.

We hope you can join us at Whitetail! Meanwhile, enjoy the rest of your summer!
Thank you,
